yesterday was my:

1. first month in globe
2. first time to see kitchie nadal perform
3. first driving experience on the road

1. i would like to thank tine and windstruck for
being part of my prayer brigade which played a
huge part in helping me get my new job. i'm no
longer doing field works now, i'm now assigned
at the network operations center where we do
some monitoring on the mobile switches, transits,
etc. it would be a major adjustment but God is
gracious.

2. i didn't recognise kitchie's band members and
i think she has new musicians now. by the time
kuya jim announced her name, the congregation just
went nuts. she played her new song and ended her
set with bulong. i was hoping she would sing the
mcdo theme, because it was already past nine and
i haven't taken my dinner and all i'm thinking
about is cheeseburgers. she was great but it would
be better if she did some testimony.

on a side note, still about the faith factor event
in ultra yesterday, i saw barbie perform for the
third time. what can i say, i'm a big fan. haaay....
she did a 3-song set, it was a very barbie-you're-so-pretty-and-talented-will-you-marry-me?
set. 'nuf said. anyways, back to the real world.
her session drummer is her original drummer from
barbie's cradle. her bassist is a monster. he's a
baaaad bass player. i wish i can play like that.

3. i am getting driving lessons from my cousin who owns
the samuel julian no skid no sideswipe driving
institute.and yesterday i was able to practice my
driving skills (or lack thereof) to the utter horror
of our youth band. ate aret was giving me directions and
really can't believe what's happening. i don't think
she'll ever let me drive again. in case you're wondering,
where still cousins. you should have seen their faces.
they said it was the longest 2 minutes of their lives.

okay back to barbie. para kanino niya kaya sinulat yung
kantang just a smile. haaay...
